What is the PECC+ Project?

The Pediatric Emergency Care Coordinators (Plus) program is a new EMS initiative out of the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill Department of Emergency Medicine and is grant funded by the Emergency Medical Services for Children (EMSC) program under HRSA. The program seeks to improve prehospital emergency care for pediatric patients through the utilization and training of Pediatric Emergency Care Coordinators in the EMS setting.
